Currently my favorites are Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, and Death Note. For Bleach and Naruto I likesubs best but for Death Note prefer Dubs. And usually English made manga/anime isn't aas epic.

    - Subtitled - ofc. depends on dubbing but generally I prefer subtitles

    Re: The Best Anime/Manga

I wish I had been able to follow Wolf's Rain when it was on Adult Swim. The few episodes I did catch were pretty good. I'm also really into Death Note. I was a little mad with last nights episode when a certain someone died. It wasn't so much that he died that made me mad, it was the fact that it took so long to happen that I was actually starting to like him enough to not want him to die.

    Re: The Best Anime/Manga

Best manga I've read recently would have to be Hourou Musuko. Though its not exactly most people's type, now is it?

Best Anime I've seen...hm. I suppose I've actually enjoyed Azumanga Daioh the most. Though there are many, many more which come to mind.

    ---

Old or New, doesn't decide how good they are.

Japanese, if you can read it, its better than english. They usually change so much in the english versions. :/

Both Manga and Anime are fine.

What about RAWs? I like those best, though subtitles>Dubs.

    Re: The Best Anime/Manga

    New: Code Geass R2

Dub vs Sub: Depends, usually sub though.

Manga vs Anime: Manga usually has a better storyline.

    Re: The Best Anime/Manga

I don't know if I would call it the best, but I would definitely consider Code Geass to be one of the best animes out there at this point.
