When did you start playing MMORPGs? RPGs?
As the title says.......
I began playing MMORPGs with a game on the Sierra Gaming Network. It was called King's Quest online. It was in 1993 when BBS was popular.
I began playing RPGS in 1983 with Dungeons & Dragons (first run). Then went to playing Warhammer in the mid 1980's.

Re: When did you start playing MMORPGs? RPGs?
Ohhhh, here's a good answer. XD My first real "MMO" experience was an old MUD named DragonReams (which is still running today, and is still an awesome game). I actually did pretty good at the game and actually got into one of the "secret" classes (Moon Mage, which was a pain but totally worth it). And I was really impressed at the depth of storytelling that accompanied the game. So, that was about... hmmm... 1997...ish.
Then, I got interested with Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds (2D MMORPG, still running, still pretty awesome) and I really enjoyed the customizability of the game and how it reminded me of alot of SNES RPGs of the time. I know that was 1997.
Then I got into Underlight: The City of Dreams (middle 1998) on MPlayer, and was blown away by the graphics that they put into the game. Oh man, Vector based 3-D graphics! It was so advanced! It looked better than Duke Nukem! XD But I ended up staying there for a while because people were awesome roleplayers and the game was very innovative. It wasn't about the levels you got, but the connections and friendships you made. Finally, EverQuest came out in 1999... since then I was with mainstream MMORPGs like Anarchy Online and many others, and became an MMO fiend. :)

Re: When did you start playing MMORPGs? RPGs?
I started playing MMOs (Runescape was my first) in 2006. Got over the game and played better ones in 2007 (SOS, FO, DOMO, etc.). But for regular RPGs, it was when I was way back in 1999 or 2000, when the really old Zelda games came out, also Super Mario RPG.

Re: When did you start playing MMORPGs? RPGs?
I started playing when I was around 17. I can't remember all the games I've played but i do remember it was hard balancing gaming with my senior year of school.
Games I remember playing are Guild wars, Runescape, BOTS, AOA, silkroad, some WoW, knights online, I tried ballerium, and cabal. thats about all i can remember at this moment.
I switched to RTS and have been playing that. I have almost all the C&C, and most of the Age of Empires. I recently bought both C&C3 and the Kanes Wrath expansion as well. My CD-Rom is broken so i'm forced to take a break.
