Quite the first RPG to get into O:.

I remember mine being just the first Final Fantasy on the NES.

- RPG i also played diablo 1, ultima online and all the beginings. :-)

Swore I would never pay to play, then I started MMO's when SWG launched... back in 2003... A friend talked me into it... Since then I've played a good sampling of them all... FFII, CoH/V, WoW, EvE, LotRO, Fury, Hellgate (subscription)... and to a lesser extent... Cabal, Rappelz, Dungeon Runners... oh where has the time gone

Wellll.............my first rpg was a game thati played on psx.....it was alundra.....i played in 1999..............when i was 8.....................it was a nice game....since then i have played many mmorpg and rpg....like.....diablo,temple of elemental evil,neverwinter nights,lineage2,wow,silkroad,shattered light,king's quest 8 and many others....also 2 rpgs that i enjoyed a lot was FABLE and DUNGEON SIEGE

 Ahh the good ol' days.

My addition for MMO's began when a friend of mine back in the mid 90's showed me Ultima Online. I always wanted to come over and play at his house and would always make a new character cause I had no idea what I was doing (my folks didn't let me use internet for long periods of time). I always watched him though and loved the RP aspect and how everyone kinda knew everyone there. When they did let me use the internet I immediately bought Diablo II when it came out -- what a game!

When we got Cable Internet I jumped into Asheron's Call, by far my most favorite MMO other than UO to this day. Wish I could still be playing (not a fan of AC2 and AC1 is dunzo.)

I then had to quit that because my computer couldn't handle it and tried various MMO's but they never kept my attention. When WoW came out I played that for a good year or so (almost lost a girlfriend over it -- stupid game).

 Here I am today, still searching. WE seems sick and I can't wait to see what these guys have in store.

 RPG wise -- Link's Awakening on the original Nintendo GameBoy got me. Could never get into FF stuff because I can't get past anime. I know the story lines are great but something about Japanese animation -- I don't like looking at it.

 I started playing like 4 years ago,and it was Lineage 2.

My first MMO was L2 too, got to 76 SwordMuse and what not, but I would say my first rpg was.... Life.....if you don't know what this strange word is, time to unplug and get some vit.D and what not, hehe

I started playing mmo's when AoL 2.0 was released hehe, my first mmorpgs were legends of kesmai, darkness falls (mud), magestorm, everquest.

Dont play any many mmo's now days.

 started playing MMOs 5 years ago. It was Ragnarok Online

yea..one of my first game was Ragnarok Online..

 It's a hit and a Great Game.

Brief stint in Meridian 59, then UO.  First major gaming for mmorpgs was EQ. 

i started playing rpg  in 2002  with diablo 2

 since then i have played a large number of mmo and single player rpg but there are only a few that were really good:

 diablo 2, gothic+ sequel and addon, oblivion, final fantasy 7, knights of the old rublic + sequel

 i've also played flyff, gw and 2moons for a very long time but the reason to quit  those mmo was always the grinding

 My first MMO was Mu Online, 3 or 4 years ago, i think... The first RPG i think was Diablo 1...

I've been playing RPGs way back since the SNES days, but I've probably only been playing MMORPGs for a couple of years, three at most. You might say that I've been playing MMORPGs longer than that, since I consider Diablo 2 to be an Online RPG, and not a MMORPG.

I've played so many MMORPGs these past three years that it just about makes my head spin:

Silkroad, Maple Story, Drift City, Grenado Espada, Hellgate, Mythos, Luminary, Last Chaos, FlyFF, and probably a bunch of other ones that I'm not thinking of.

 I pretty much got into gaming through a RPG on the PS1, Final Fantasy 9 (8 years ago).  The first MMORPG I played was Runescape (PROBABLY 4-3 years ago).  Didn't really get into MMORPGS until the last 2 years.
