Anyone pysched for the new live Metal Gear Solid movie and the Halo movie? I know I'm way more psyched for the MGS movie, but I think I'll see both. 

I don't get psyched for video game movies anymore, every one I have ever seen has sucked. Plus, hideo isn't even making the movie, he pitched the idea then hollywood took it so now he doesn't have any idea what they are doing to it. David Hayter tried to make a pitch to the company that he might want to play snake in it but they passed on him, they passed on solid snake, so no I'm not looking forward to it. Unless somehow David and Hideo become part of it again it's going to suck big time.

Possibly, but out of love I'm going to see it lol. 

 I dunno....I mean thats pretty valid to say that almost all video game movies are garbage....But there are some....Personaly i liked silent hill...Even though it was all scrabbled up it was entertaining. You also have to remember that it isn't a recap of the game it's the director trying to remake the idea of the game. So when they atleast come close to the feel even if the story is different you have to give them alittle credit.

holy crud man there coming out with a new halo movie i almost forgot about it. i'm so pyhiced for it to come out right now. but its so tiring to wait for it.

 I have a feeling that the MGS movie will suck, So I will probably just rent it instead of seeing it in theaters. I probably won't see the halo movie because I have never played the game. 

Nay, games adapted into movies are quite poor. Mostly because the games adapted weren't actually story driven. Take Super Mario or Tomb Raider for an example. And while I've never played either MGS or Halo I'm quite sure their storylines would only be worth a laugh if you condensed it into a 2-hour movie.
