Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
It should be implemented =S dunno why people start arguments about it.. Anyway, post flooding is a problem(every forum out there have it).. But, if people doesnt make useful post it wont help anyway.. I do read most topics and answers, but sometimes i dont post, precisely because i dont want to flood-spam.. The thing is getting a mature(with hair everywhere and stuff << just kidding =P) comunity, that does make useful post, or stick to the topic, and can difference where to spam (Spamland hello?!).. So, just that's what im thinking rite now.. I voted yes.. But implementing a flood control wont make spam or the useless posts go down.. In that case, its better to designate moderators, or get more mods on the forum moderator team.. My toughts :3! Arkz~

Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
I totally agree with Arkz, I voted a *yes* but there are users (like me) having done dactylography for years and writing in a hell of a speed ^^ But well, I'm ok with 30sek or 1 minute after each post, that would not really slow down, cause you first have to read answers, before you do a post. Well you could let the spamland out of that, so ppl there can write as much and as quick as they want, since it doesn't affect anything there (0 points etc) I totally agree with having Moderators who watch over the forum, for the rules beeing followed etc. The Community grows every day, and at some point, it will get difficult for only one or two persons to watch over it.

dactylography? Neh, your wrong:D i did messenger (yahoo and msn) for years and i tell you that this is much better that dactylography classes. For now, the curent forum moderators are enough. The community is matture and well organized, and i hope to stay this way, if not, then yes, some moderators will be needed.

Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
Tehe, I got my first PC (or what were those huge machines called then?) when I was 9 ^^ Started to type some kind of diary with dosedit ^^. I allready wrote really quick when starting dac-classes, cause of undernet-chatrooms ^^ But with dac-classes, i'm nearly unbeatable at speedwriting ^^ But since I'm a good child, I'll behave ^^ Well enough offtopic, for now yeah, the community is mature and friendly, it's extremly nice hanging around here, but what if there are 15k user here? ;) That's why I wrote *for later* ^^

It seems like you guys rewarded people that post the most with beta test status. So, why did you do that if you are asking this question?
Oh no, I don't think they reward people for post flood. Its not that they reward people with the most post with CB tester but they reward them for their quaility and activeness, I think. I think they are still selecting people to be CB testers, so I hope you haven't give up :) Good luck bud. Also being a tester is not all fun.
This question is should post flooding be allowed and that question just means what it says. I think post flooding is basical spamming. like some people might just get on and go to any post and post off topic, lol, lmao stuff like that.

Therefore I believe that this topic is exhausted. Post Flooding should NOT be allowed. Now we just have to catch Brice's attention so he can some post flooding control

We just have to wait for the feature to be added.

Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
I really think you should implement a warning system. I know most boards have a feature like this, and it seems to work out pretty well. I think http://getvanilla.com/ has this implemented. I remember someone saying it was a good forum manager. But, from personal experience I often see official boards being spammed and utterly destoryed by bots and the such, making the forums not seem so proffesional. If you manage to keep it under control, then great work. :D But, if you leave it up to fansites to run forums, I would not mind that either. Of course, seeing that the game is just starting up, I would not mind a CB forum.
