Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
I have noticed a trend in irrelevant and numerous posts being put up by single users. Should I implement some post flooding controls that will inhibit the number of posts allowed per user within a pre-deisgnated period of time? Vote! Implement Post Flooding Control?Yes, please keep people from posting everywhere in the forums with irrelevant "lmao" posts (72.7%) it does not bother me, post flooding is fun! (27.3%)
You voted for 'Yes, please keep people from posting everywhere in the forums with irrelevant "lmao" posts'.

Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
Is this implemented at me? If it is i am sorry because all i try do is reply to peoples convos and my replys are relivent to what they have put. If you dont want me to post i can spend hours of my life not posting on the forums and not advertising the game on other things.
Matty
Kind Regards Matty^.^

Matty No one is being targeted specifically...I just want to be sure that everyone is having a pleasant experience in the forums. In all honesty, I like seeing the community grow. Keep doing what you are doing Scrattz, until the whole of the forums voices an overwhelming majority that desires certain limitations or modifications to be made in the forums...you are fine. There are many features in the forums that are not being used...one of which is the "Post Flood Control" that limits the number of posts allowed by individuals within a set period of time. If it is a feature that no one cares about, then we will not use it. Also, how do you like your rank graphic? You are the only one with that many posts, so I had to make that just for you. Edit: Gah! You went up in rank again! Edit:Edit: Oops, that was my fault, I had the rank changeover number set too low...fixed now

Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
Sinnedd:Like how long of a set of time? Becuase most of my posts are withing 2 minutes hten i dont post for another like 10 minutes when i refresh. I dislike waiting to post, but if theres a lot of post flooding i suppose its necessary. It can be set to any time limit in minutes. I would not set that limit to 10 minutes...it would prob just be 1-2 minute wait times if we activated it.

Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
Flood control is useful, so I voted yes... Regarding the time limit I'd say 30 sec to a minute... While I'm not nearly as fast as typing "a ton of posts a minute" I could make 2-3... with relative usefulness of 70-80% lol :) Btw: Scrattz's new rank image is Cool!:)

hardhiter61:i agree with zyrex but i also think that if the post is just a copy of some eles's post then it should not count and if it is totally not relevant to the topic then it should not count or if it is like one word then it shouldn't count etheir I soo tottaly agree with you ^^ that's the way it should be

Re: Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?
infernal86:In my prospective a forum is a place where people should be posting somewhat long answers on varios discussions... Therefore I propose to add some sort of limit to the number of characters you enter... Looks like many people are trying to use the forums as a chat system, where one person adds half a sentence and waits for another to reply... But that's just me... a flood control should do the trick for now
i agree it souldnt be like pie56 said: this game is coming out for the pc? and if it is when and how much will it cost and how big will it be? jjsd90 said: yes it is and that rite there sould be flooding

Anyways, problem is that trying to incorporate such validations will make posting a little bit irritating... In stead, may be they could implement a "shoutbox" or a chat channel that stays on all the time... It could be placed either on the left or right of the forum... What do you say??
