i can only use 100gb of bandwidth a month. upload and download combine. some people have a lot less depending on where they are from.

100 gb  . lol, here in India it is usually 1-10 gb depending on the plan.(10 is usually for business though). But we also have unlimited download plans(I have one), but with a pathetic speed of 256kbps, I can't even dream of downloading more than 20 gb a month.

btw, 100gb sounds virtually unlimited to me. What is the average net speed u get?

they advertise it as 1mbps up and 16mbps down but i rarely see over 500kbps when i download.

i normally go over 100gb a month. after 120gb they send you warning and after a 130ish they cut you off.

I'm with cogeco and i have the pro service on this page. 

Things ain't that bad here atleast. I have a connection by Airtel, they advertise it as 128kbps, I usually get in excess of 256kbps. But then, I should be able to go above 50GB, theoretically, shouldn't I ? BTW, do you download stuff through torrent often? That could eat up a lot of the bandwidth.
