Don't quote me on this though, but I'm pretty sure that we will lose our characters after Closed Beta. Just about any MMORPG that goes through Closed Beta testing undergoes a wipe at the end. Open Beta, however, might be a different story. 

FireSpyre is right on this, there is a very very high chance that we will have our characters wiped back to level 1, losing all of our precious gear and items along the way. They may not be deleted so you don't have to worry about someone else stealing your IGN. But for open beta, that's much different, I believe there will be no character/item wipe after the completion of Open Beta, just another extended downtime the developers use to fix more bugs and glitches, as well as adding more content to the game. 

The majority of closed betas do get wiped, its a testing period people should be lucky if they get accepted(this sounds hard don't take it that way please). The company itself usually has to clear the database to get rid of anything that impede progress of the game. Open beta is different, usually by this point there is nothing too major that would cause a wipe from open beta to the release of the game..there IS a slim chance it can happen though. As to classes avaiable just a waiting game, maybe 8 maybe 6, who knows but I'm sure they'll be the ones the devs want us to test regardless.

That's pretty much the Zambrono, but who knows if you can be a male Zambrono or equip a 2-handed rifle. 

I believe that the Zambrano was described as a woman who is equips herself with her trusted rifle, and hand guns, so I'm thinking that she should have that option, same as using a 2-handed axe over a 1-handed.  And if she is to use guns, I think they should blend real life guns with fantasy guns, like Squall's gunblade concoction (not exactly that cause it would be plagurism), and items like Desert Eagles, sawed off shotguns, hunting rifles and such.  And her close range attacks will most likely be bashing the enemy with the but of the gun. 

I believe that those 5 revealed will be closed beta, and they reveal the other 3 in open beta.  Although I wonder what it would be like if you were able to have classes branch off from the originals, example; Zambrano could branch off into a - Trigger Finger (speed shooter), Gun Mage (using spells as the bullets or energy inside the gun) or maybe Hunter (can train a pet/minion to help distract while you take perfect aim).  It's just a thought though.

Because they are in developement.

From what i know Zambrano will be the next accsessible for all players in the CB.I think the skill tree can be made so that you can choose which spell you wanna use the most and make it +1,+2,+3 ...and then you will can build a personal game style or be better in pvp or pve the idea is to have a bigger opiton that way most of the ppl won't have identical chars.

 When we get to the open beta Everything will be wiped atleast i think it will.

But dont worry, the open beta isnt for a while.  Got lots more testing to do :)
