I feel bad, I'm replying to like every topic =p
Anyway... Hot linking to tripod doesn't work- but I was more of a NES person myself. The first 3 final fantasy games (not sure if you guys have played the real 2 and 3) Yo Noid (Yeah, I played it), Bubble Bobble, etc.. But I did get to play around with the Turbo Graphix... It kinda did what dreamcast did though, had an awesome opening (it was actually outselling nintendo), but then it just kind've...died..

Military Madness was where it's at on the TG16. I loved that game.
The Wii's Virtual Console has put me back in touch with many of my old favorites which disappeared over the years due to age, garage sales, or lending gone bad.
Punch Out! on the NES is giving me the same fits it used to. I recently finished Metroid again. Still a great game, but not quite as I remember it. It's amazing how far gaming has come. I'll probably try Super Metroid soon. Maybe that's what I'm remembering moreso than the original.
But if you want old-school awesome, there's just nothing compared to Oregon Trail. "You have died of dysentary!"

Bubble Bobble. That game was great!
Oh yeah it was! The nostalgic value of that game is so high that I'll still play it today over most of the stuff that comes out. =p
