 I keep trying to get in the chat room and always get a connection error.

Maybe it's your Java Consule. Have you made sure it's up-to-date?

The touhou series!

 Although I doubt anyone really knwos what Touhou is around here... It's not very well known...

 

It's still my favourite game though, and I've been playing it for almost a year now nonstop.

I use java v 1.0.6_03 from sun, which is the most updated version i can find, the app loads but when I type in my user name and click it just says "connecting..." then I get the error "Error connecting to server. Please try again in a few minutes"

Odd, I'll try to find out the problem, I have the same version and I have no problems. 

 I tried the same app on the app's main site and i could connect just fine, it's just the warrior hall site's app the problems happens at.

did you try different browsers? maybe you have some setting on your browser that stops it 

 Same issue with both firefox and internet explorer.

 Does Safari even work for it?

 nope, but I tried the same app on addonInteractive's site and i can connect just fine. there must just be something about the WH app settings.  I have tried this from different computers though they have all been through my university's network (the only thing they try to block is the use of torrents) Maybe we can just all use the IRC chat for WE that was just created?

oh man, I wish I could use chat services while at work. I'll have to try to get in when I get off

Maybe not the IRC, like I said in the "Should Post Flooding Be Allowed?" IRC blows up on me when it's first installed, I can get it, but who knows what might happen when I even try to use the program. 

I finally got IRC to work, I had to use port 7000 instead of 6667 though because my university blocks 6665-6667, and what do you mean by "Blows up"?

mine also blows up i enter everyhting then when i try to conect i get a error and stuff so i dont use it anymore :d
