WoW A.K.A World Of Warcraft
Everyone properly has heard of WoW, and those who haven't, get out more often :P But those who have played or seen WoW, properly agree that it is one of the best games that have come out recently, on the computer side. Based on it's previous versions, Warcraft 1 - 3, using it's imaginative characters, great storylines, very cool and easy interaction between user and game, it's entertaining PvP(Player vs. Player) method, and it's awesome graphics that puts most other games to shame( feel sorry for Runscape) one wonders if this game is worth it. But did you know that because of Blizzards hard work and dedication and the amount of gamers they have accumalated over the years(which is estimated to be more then a few million, only Blizzard knows the true amount), they are making, from a rough calculation by a source that wishes to remain anonymous, they make close to $2-3 million a month, $US. And this is just US alone. In China, known for it's booming economy and the soon to be held Olympic games as well as it's very high rate of gamers, it's said that Blizzard makes close to $5 million a MONTH. And this is just the 'gamer cards'( The gamer cards are similar to the Xbox's idea of Gold Subscribtion Cards, price varies in various countries but are sold as high as $90 in some places). They also sell things like toys, game packages, and other inventions and creations they have come up with. This, plus the 'gamer cards', after another rough calculation by an anonymous source, states that the game entertaining company, Blizzard make somewhere close to or more then $4-6 million US. To remind you, these calculation are based not on accurate figures but assumpitions. Blizzard Entertainment, I believe, has done a remarkable job and they have my congratulations. And to any online game that has the dream in turning into something like what Blizzard has done, will have a tough time. But if you stick to the fundamentals of gameing, having fun with a good group of people and so on, you might just make it :)

They should donate that money to the disadvantaged orc children in Orgrimmar. :P That is a lot of money.

Re: WoW A.K.A World Of Warcraft
lolz ure mum has some sense :P I still play WoW, at one point i was at the tip of addiction, my rogue was GM of a descent raiding guild (Darkspear EU Horde) and on top of it i had a strong PvP reputation of being a very good rogue on our realm (i hate to brag xD) but quite simply i got bored and now i still play without being addicted so much. If anyones interested i also had a 70 warrior with some good tanking and fury gear (Fury > Arms in PvP if you have skill and experience to use it) aswell as a 70 SP (shadow priest) which i rescently changed to immortal spec for the PvP =] and also i now bot accounts with openbot (my own edited version) although none of my old characters have been botted on at all i now have a new account with a few 70s and full S1, BoE epics, all the crap that is bot-able ^^ Oh and i advise people not to buy WoW powerleveling, it's a rip off and not to mention its as secure as a paper maché safe.
