Ok, so if anyone's been visiting the Blizzard website over the past few days, they have had a splash screen that would be added to each day. Now the splash screen is finished, and it takes you to the official website for Diablo 3. All I can say is omygoshthisgameisgoingtobesoawesome! If I can find pictures of the what the splash screen looked like before today, I'll put them up for anyone who missed it.

 Was talking about this in-game earlier today with some folks, I am flipping out. This is the most amazing news to happen for me in... years! Granted it's probably got a long release date, at least we have someone to look forward to and 'know' it's coming. Blizzard is just dominating the gaming industry with all these games coming out... it's crazy.

However, I do have several issues with it, like Health Orbs and the fact the style isn't as dark/gothic as the former two. Hopefully before it is released, they add some shader or something to give it that gothic feel we love from D1/2. And remove Health Orbs for potions.

Either way I'd still play it, and I can say right now it's selling itself with just that video. Blizzard; just keep on milking the cash cows. ;D

I actually like the Health/Mana Bar. Much better than before in my honest opinion. I think they will have potions, but the health orbs are just a plus.

If they were "milking the cash cow," this game would of been made and we would be seeing D4! :D

So all in all I AM VERY EXCITED!!

There were quite a few more but this sums it up very well in my opinion.

Now, these shots obviously have problems because they were done with graphics editing programs or something, not actual new textures / shaders - so the graphics seem sorta too sharp/hard in some spots. However, if the D3 team made their textures like this, it'd still be amazingly high quality and reallygive that Diablo feel.

 That said, we still have tons of time before anything is changed, although I am doubtful it will change. But alas, I can dream.

What?... You want it Darker that's all? I see nothing wrong with the game so far, you are just being picky in my opinion..

And many other people want this change also, I'm not alone here. I just think they should lessen up on the colors and bring back the gritty, dark feel. Granted this is the WoW team who are working on this, so I doubt much would change. I just don't get the same immersion when hacking skeletons and zombies down in a lush field full of flowers with a pretty rainbow over there and azure, cascading waterfalls tumbling over the cliffs behind me. All the meanwhile, blood is flying across the field andthe evils of hell are warring their way across the pathetic world.

Maybe the developers should make multiple texture pack. That's what they did with Gothic 4 anyway...or whatever it's called now (Arcana: A Gothic Tale or something like that)...they noticed that most european players prefer dark and gritty rather than bunny fields of happiness...but i don't think it necesarilly has something to do with being european or american...I agree with Shaden that killing skeletons in a field full of multicolored flowers is a bit off XD...and a darker theme would really be best for a game that's called DIABLO

A texture pack would be cool, I agree werriom. Or some sort of shader that kills some of the happy-go-lucky look. Then again, we have to remember there is day/night so maybe, just maybe, night time will look a little scarier. Although I'm betting it won't, it's still hopeful wishing. :P

That picture defines how I think Diablo 3 should look. Absolutely stunning - scary and real intense!

     I am not much of a fan of Diablo, but I did hear of this third one coming out. Maybe I will see if I can find a video on youtube that shows some clips and stuff.

 Regarding the graphic style of D3, there is an online petition from fans here. 30.000 signatures soon...
