Aim your attacks

It would be pretty simple change in gameplay :
-add manual attack with 4 buttons ( where 4th button is block)
- lower evasion rate to all character ( depending how the block will work)
If they add normal attack combo system then there can be more mobs in the rooms per player.
Thats actually all to keep the game with current balance after adding manual fighting.

I think the problem is the simplicity as its just too simple. Point and click ruins the fun as its been overdone. I dont feel like playing an unfunny dungeon runners. So I have a few ideas how a couple things could work Blocking: When blocking you cannot attack but you do not take damage from things infront of you (A little more then a 180 degree radius). Simple as you could block everything but a special attack such as a knockdown or stun. (would require updated mob Ai and skills) Combo attacks: Very simple mix your attacks in a 3 part combination so that the 4th attack is a power move. (more damage or special effect) So for example: slash, punch, kick, punch = uppercut (effect knockdown or stun) Sofar they have the attack animations, the wasd (in their build), and I have heard they are going to improve AI (could be wrong). With that being said our ideas dont seem so far out or difficult to implement. Time consuming yes but definitely not impossible or improbable.

I like simple aiming better then the no aiming myself. If youve ever played champions of norrath or any of the games like that for the ps2 thats kinda how I see it working but with combos tacked on. You cant just run in a room alone most of the time because things would surround you and kill you near instantly. With different spells and kiting tactics and blocking Is how you got past these things. I think if we learned from this game but expanded with a combo system it would turn out really well as far as combat is concerned.
