    I completely get what your saying. Though Cabal only looks dynamic its really just a crappy game asian game like the rest lol.

    I do not want to play those games. I just do not like that idea. I do not like aiming seein I suck at it and I would get annoyed.

    I would like to say an Aimed attack that would give you better hit possibilities if you aim for 5 seconds or such. if you aim to long there could be penalties. One more thing that would be awesome is to aim at certain body parts which would open the door for some kewl kill options  ;  )

     Back on topic.. I agree completely guys, i recently got this complaint to and just another method to attack would be nice, but it making other methods could hurt the simplicity of the game so i am unsure about how or what to change or add.

    It would be pretty simple change in gameplay :

    -add manual attack with 4 buttons ( where 4th button is block)

    - lower evasion rate to all character ( depending how the block will work)

    If they add normal attack combo system then there can be more mobs in the rooms per player.

    Thats actually all to keep the game with current balance after adding manual fighting.

    I think the problem is the simplicity as its just too simple. Point and click ruins the fun as its been overdone. I dont feel like playing an unfunny dungeon runners.  So I have a few ideas how a couple things could work

    Blocking: When blocking you cannot attack but you do not take damage from things infront of you (A little more then a 180 degree radius). Simple as you could block everything but a special attack such as a knockdown or stun. (would require updated mob Ai and skills)

    Combo attacks: Very simple mix your attacks in a 3 part combination so that the 4th attack is a power move. (more damage or special effect) So for example: slash, punch, kick, punch = uppercut (effect knockdown or stun)

    Sofar they have the attack animations, the wasd (in their build), and I have heard they are going to improve AI (could be wrong). With that being said our ideas dont seem so far out or difficult to implement. Time consuming yes but definitely not impossible or improbable.

    I have seen some other games that have combo's that are cheap because they link a few moves together also known as juggling. I liked most of your post but hopefully they wont make a combo system that allows cheap shots or a combo or two that will drain all your life in one combo.

    I got pretty nice system in my mind for combos and 3 new stats ,but I am to lazy to write it down now. Maybe I will do it later.

    Well I guess Aiming would not be too bad, but if that does happen make it so that if we shoot at like a book shelf and there is a monster next to it it kills the monster or hurts it. I think that would be cool.

    Aiming wont be so difficult as you think. Were not talking first person shooter or anything like that. Think about is more like Zelda Ocarina of time or twilight princess. You have a way to target and a way to attack that a seperate and leaves for a more immersive and intense battle without a big learning curve.

    There can be wery easy aiming ,even no aiming... just mouse would go off ,movement to WSAD , Attacks to some 4 buttons, and TAB to change target. You would just target something and press distance attack button and thats all ,no aiming at all.

    I like simple aiming better then the no aiming myself. If youve ever played champions of norrath or any of the games like that for the ps2 thats kinda how I see it working but with combos tacked on. Here is a gameplay video.

     Now this is very hack n slash oriented while still having alot of tactics. You cant just run in a room alone most of the time because things would surround you and kill you near instantly. With different spells and kiting tactics and blocking Is how you got past these things. I think if we learned from this game but expanded with a combo system it would turn out really well as far as combat is concerned.

    Champions dont have any targeting system in it thats why you need to aim. Anyway it isnt bad idea but it might be kinda hard to aim with WSAD wery distance attack of completly no aoe. Targeting would work better specialy with combo system that could look more dynamic.

    Or always we can do something like Infinity fighting system ,moving with wsad ,comboing and aiming with mouse buttons.
