FireSpyre: Zyrex:Hey I got one, this one is cool because it actually reads the number you're thinking, and it isn't the same one everytime! And I can't post it because you have to click on the button for it to work. http://www.psychics.co.uk/psychictests/mindread.htm It's... it's just not possible! WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!?! The UK mind readers got their second victim O_o

Lol okay so I did a little experiment. I tried the mind test one more time and wrote down the steps (like, if it'll say "subtract 12 from that number", etc.). The number that I was suppose to think of originally was x. So in the end, I got a little formula (which was generated at the time, as you know it changes so the values will not be the same): x + 22 + 21 + 6 - 12 - 22 - x = y y = 15; x = ? Apparently, regardless of what number you decided to substitute x for, you'll ALWAYS get 15 as a result (for this particular formula). So the trick here is obviously in the formula and the test only reads the result of the formula. Lol but imagine if the test could determine what x was, or in other words, if it figured out the original number I was thinking of. Now that'd be creepy as hell lol.

FireSpyre:So the trick here is obviously in the formula and the test only reads the result of the formula. Aye, the fact that there is a +x and a -x shows that whichever number you think of is irrelevant, as each of the formulae has a set answer. This could be done quite easily with a VBscript(windows default scripting language) or Java. Something like; <code> Wscript.echo "Think of a number..." Wscript.echo "Add 22..." Wscript.echo "Add 21..." Wscript.echo "Add 6..." Wscript.echo "Subtract 12..." Wscript.echo "Subtract 22..." Wscript.echo "Subtract the number you thought of..." Wscript.echo "The answer is 15, spooky no?" </code> Not that impressive when you break it down, eh? I liked the other one though(original post). I thought of silver screw-driver, cause I have one and I use it for everything. I love it

Omg that mind reading thing freaks me out! I got this one from my Ehud Segev newsletter (<3 him!)... for those of you that don't know who he is, maybe you watched the short lived show Phenomenon. He did the floating credit card trick on Halloween. Anywho! - First, write down a three digit number with each digit different. Example: 562 - Now, write the number BACKWORDS. Example: 265 - Subtract the smaller number from the larger number. - Write the result. - Write the result BACKWORDS again. - Add the two results to eachother. No matter what numbers you choose, the answer will always be 1089 Now that I've typed that out, it's a bit confusing O_o
