Only about 2 months left, and I'm getting kind of anxious, how about you guys?

I must say that I too am excited, I've been playing the series since the release of SSB64 X_x

I can't wait for the online modes, hopefully things like the Subspace Emissary and the event matches are online, because they look like they'd be a lot of fun with two or more people.

I don't like the look of the final smashes though, there seem to be a few horribly good ones, and others that are... less good (Peach, for example), so I hope they're not used in competitive play.

I'm also looking forward to any character updates, I want to see more of a development in Lucas =O

Shame Europe will get the game a few months after everywhere else ¬_¬ 

Well, I'm guessing like a lot of the tournys for melee were, the items/smashes will be on for the qualification rounds/to weed out the huge number of people in 4p FFA, then they can break it down to the 1v1 no item fox only final destination matches just like before (sarcasm about the fox only final destination part <3)

Either way, I'm moreso concerned about the online because everyone will be broken up into sections I'm sure, so you won't be able to play with some of your friends.

Hell yes!!! I hope it'll be good :) Maybe some new moves for the old characters and more unlockable content (levels and fighters). I believe the online part will be nice and hope to see some of folks in action :)

 My friend bought the japanese version off ebay, I went to his house and played and guess what? It rocked my sox, they gameplay was awesome and your able to run in circles and not jut left to right.

Er...Theres a couple things wrong with that statement... Japanese version doesn't come out till I believe the 24th of Jan, and Japanese games usually aren't directly compatible with systems from Europe and USA.. Sure you weren't thinking of a different game? Or are you just trying to play a trick on people? =p

From all the stuff we've been presented so far it looks to be pretty awesome, I'll be having a lot of fun with it online for sure.

My Wii set up to play japanese imports since its not region free normally but even then not all imports are compatable, so its possible for that but yeah, it aint suppose to come out till the end of january. Wish it would come out sooner, I want to get my hands on it.

I played it im not joking! My friend said it was it so I believed him, or maybe one of the testers released it? I wouldnt lie about this :P 

Not saying your lieing ... just need some proof of something like that. 

Apprently after doing some research, the japanese version of smash brothers brawl is already gone gold and being made. So, it is possible that a few games got stolen and released early. 

Did you read the post he made though? Smash brothers isn't 3d movement, the system type wouldn't be compatible, and sold on ebay?  That's all assuming that someone DID steal a disc immediately if the going gold thing is completely true...

Either way, it didn't happen, let's just leave it at that...

Personally, I can't wait. Although I think they're changing the game a bit too much with the assist trophies. This game will become too much item based >< 

Why wouldnt it be compatible? Ive seen alot of games where you can do that, infact it was possible in super mario 64.. 

 The ability to turn off items will be a godsend for me, I hate having that random factor in my matches =/

 Although I believe it's up to a vote to decide whether they're used in online matches, so that sucks. 

Ehh.. It's all opinion, I play with items off too, but there's nothing really wrong with them.

Daxis, I'm done talking about whether or not that's smash, because unless you took your video camera and showed me you playing it, then there's no reason for anyone to believe that's what it is. (Theres no point turning this into the forums first flame thread, so I'd like to politely just stop discussing that =p)

Oh man, I can't wait until this game comes out. I've played all of the supersmashbros games and they are probably the main reason I buy the Nintendo systems. The single player looks awesome in Brawl.
