Is anyone else waiting for FF13? I have been waiting since I first heard about it..back in like 06.

Argh another lead female character, which I understand is great for females, but I just don't like playing female characters >.<. I'll probably still get it just so I can play through the story which will probably be great as always. My favs will probably still remain VII and Tactics I've probably played both each at least 10 times. That reminds me they need a sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics... such an awesome game.

I've had enough of the normal Final Fantasy series after 10. There is a time to call it quits, when you start taking the old system that everyone loved and start changing it into something weird then its time to start working on something else. Though I did like Tactics a lot and wish they made a real sequal to it instead of FFA which was down right horrible, I don't play a game to be limited of what I am allowed to use every battle.

I have to agree. After 8 the games have been pretty disappointing. I liked 9 but it was way too easy honsetly.  10 was...okay. 11 should just be called Online....and 12 it was...okay at best. I can tell you 13 would not be the reason if I was going to purchase a PS3. I did enjoy tactics though and the remakes were a blast for me. I have beaten everyone upto 10, I didn't bother to take the time to beat 12 although I have it still. Now kingdom hearts 3 that I would buy a ps3 for.

I've only ever played Final Fantasy 8, 10 and 12.

But from the look of the trailer,  this game looks ridiculously good has great cutscenes. =]

i've never really been a huge final fantasy person...i never understood the series and i got mixed up with the roman numerals...and its more of a stratagy thing...and im not very strategic..but can someone tell me what the point of final fantasy is? 

It differs from game to game, but mostly the aim is to level up, and then defeat the big bad guy who's threatening the world in some respect. 

ahhh ok i've seen part of the final fantasy: advent children with sephiroth and stuff

is sephiroth the overall bad guy in every final fantasy?

No he is only the bad guy in FF7.

hmm i always thought sephiroth was the main bad guy in everything....oh wellz 

Final Fantasy has been a series in name and style only, now only by name. Basicly the only small similarity to the end bosses is that most of them want to become a "god" and take over. Seph doesn't hold a candel to the all mighty Kefka! "Wahahahahahahaha"

Lol, well there always has to be some kind of big boss at the end of the game, otherwise all the hardwork that you have done throughout the game would have been for nothing.  It seems to me like games are getting easier though, they need to make the final bosses harder.  It always seems like I can kill the last boss in 1-2hits nowadays.

 I heard somewhere, I think Attack of the Show, that FF13 wasn't exclusive anymore, anyone know if that's the case? If not, I guess I will have to end up getting a PS3.

No he is only the bad guy in FF7.

Hmm I don't quite get why you are quoting me but in reply, I never wanted a remake :p which is what Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War is from the website you listed. I want a sequel :D. So ya they did in fact do a remake but not a sequel.

I personally loved all the final fantasy games -.-, 13 will be no different
