Diablo's Legacy

     Diablo was first released in 1997-01-06. It was fantastic. It gave everything a gamer wanted, story, gameplay, graphics, and online gameplay. That was only the beginning to one of the best game series of all time.

        In the year 2000 Diablo became bigger and better than ever! Five all-new character classes, four different, fully populated towns complete with wilderness areas, multiple dungeons, caverns, and crypts in every town for players to explore, expanded world, filled with all-new quests, weapons, spells, armor, monsters, and non-player characters, advanced combat system, incorporating class-specific fighting techniques and spells, full multiplayer support, including Internet play over Battle.net (information found on blizzard's site)! After all that, I couldn't imagine anything they could of done better.

        Once again Blizzard seemed to prove me wrong by releasing the Expansion Pack Lord of Destruction! I was so suprised how they were able to add so much to an already perfect game! Two new character classes the Assassin and the Druid, each with 30 skills/spells to call their own, a new act set in the barbarian highlands (Act 5), new monster types (including bosses and uniques), interactive environments, THOUSANDS of new weapons/armor/magical items, including class-specific quest items, new recipes for the Horadric Cube, increased stash size, and even supports 800x600 resolution.

     By April of 2001, Diablo II had become one of the most popular online games ever.

        With no Diablo III in progress (from what we know) what is going to keep one of the best game series alive. With all the new games coming out it seems to be a matter of time until Diablo is going to be extinct.

JUST GIVE US WHAT WE WANT BLIZZARD!!!

I think Diablo is considered a MMO.

Sorry to let you down about this but Diablo 3 has already come out or so they say.  Hellgate London is supposed to be Diablo 3, cause Blizzard changed their name to Flagship Studios.  Plus most of them are still working on Starcraft 2 and the New expansion for WoW.  

I know all about Diabo 2.  I have played it for over 6 years.  I have had every character in the book.  I have had at one point or another every item you could possibly have in the game.  I finally got a character to lvl 90 not too long ago lol.  I have attempted things few people would dare.  And after all that, I never want to play that game again lol.  It just gets too boring too quickly, cause I know exactly what I will be doing, what I will be fighting for, and how I will end up constructing my characters.  It got old, but I'll say it took 6 years for this game to get old for me, and that is an amazing amount of time.  I hope Warrior Epic gives me the same joy as Diablo did.  Warrior Epic will be even more amazing because this game will have a much nicer community.  Seems like everyone in Diablo 2 now is either a twit, an a-hole, or total idiot lol.  The few nice people are scammers, and the ones that are somehow better than the rest, are driven away, or use hacks to better themselves.  Oi the game has gone to the dumps because the community is failing to show respect, and the community grows even more bitter and rude each day.  Probably because most of them shifted to playing WoW.

Warrior Epic, do not ever become what Diablo is now, pleeeease don't end up this way.

Yep, devs and designer who worked on D2 left Blizzard and made a company (Flaghship studios) and.. They made Mythos.. Check it out.. Its very similar to diablo ^^ and its mmorpg.. Still on close beta, but it looks really cool, yet simple.. But pwnz xD!

Btw, great review, i've played diablo I & II since im 12 yrs old xD or something.. Aah those times >_<.. And i still play it ^^ Got it somewhere on those dusty boxes u always have on the basement D'x..

 hehe it seems to be a lil offtopic bro ;P BTW Hellgate London isnt Diablo 3 for sure. Guys from Blizzard r working on Starcraft 2 officially but there are a rumors that they r preparing Diablo 3 on the QT. Time will show if its true... 

QT? Well if you are talking about the "Secret Project", then I think may be Diablo 3. I hope T.T

 I did recently read something about a Diablo 3 a few days ago.  Hopefully they are going to go through with it.  It has been sooo long since Diablo has seen any updates.  Although they have only just started with Starcraft 2 and even though they may have almost completed the game, they need to stay on it, to make sure everything works, and the players give good responses to it.  If Diablo 3 is in the making, then I wouldn't expect it till about 2010.  But good luck, Blizzard and Flagship, hope you guys make a great sequel to Diablo 2.

I played Diablo 2 loong time ago. I had a level 92+ perfect Paladin

And I had a Druid and a Sorceress level 80 (Totaly unperfect) and then I have a Barbarian almost perfect level 89. Then I got banned and quited.
