So I had to get a MRI today. I knew it would slide me into a tube of some sort. I was suprised to learn it was going to be very loud. Like ear plugs required loud. People told me it sounded like loud hammering... They lied.

Go to this site and play the sounds listed on the right. Start at the top and work your way down. Pretend you are in a very small tube with those blasting at you 1000x louder.

I'm at school now, but later today I'll check it out.

 Pansy, MRI's aren't scary, usually they play music while you are in there too. I've had both open and closed MRI's and I will admit that open are nicer, closed are just fine, good time for a nap.

 they did not play music and there is no way i could sleep with that much noise.

Some people are freaked out by MRIs and have to be sedated. They're not the most pleasant of procedures.
